Nakyanzi "Maria" Namugerwa leads Children Rock Ministry as our President. Maria is passionate about empowering local churches throughout the world as they strive to release children from poverty, Childabuse, Empowering youth.
Nakyanzi “Maria” Namugerwa has a deep love and passion for the beauty and potential of local churches fulfilling their Jesus-given mandate to redeem and restore this world for His name’s sake. Born in Mubende and raised in seven different Districts, Maria has experienced firsthand the powerful impact thriving local churches can have on their communities, especially in under-resourced environments. Children Rock Ministry’s church-based approach to delivering a holistic child development program resonates with Maria at a deep level
NSUBUGA MIKE
I am the 𝐂𝐨-𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 of 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 aged 20 years. I grew up as an orphan and faced a lot of hardships in my childhood in ttamu Zone Mityana district. The fact that there was no food at home and being sent back everyday for school fees but this didnt stop me from schooling.
After all the hardships i faced, at the age of 17, I was inspired to start up a journey by joining 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 with my other two friends Edrine Dabby, Kinene tiyasi,of whom we are from the same home area
SISTER DEBBIE
I am Psychiatric Nurse for 27 years from The Vineyard Church Aurora, Indiana, The Head of Volunteers of Children Rock Ministry Orphanage in Uganda. I have the love and heart of supporting these Children (orphans). And am a Sponsor for these children. What I was not prepared for was how much each of my Children would come to mean to me- how very precious they would become. These children all calls them my daughters and Sons. Those words brought tears to my eyes the first time I read them, as they are orphan. Children Rock Ministry truly does support these children and release them from poverty in the name of Jesus, just as their motto says, “For the Love of Children “ each child deserves a good life

KINENE TIYASI
I am the Secretary of 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 in Mityana. I pursued a Certficate insecretarial Studies immediately after my High school where later i went back to upgrade for a Diploma. I am seriously excited about my involvement in the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 . Helping someone selflessly and seeing that you can be of value to someone, its truly satisfying

EDRINE DABBYI am 𝐄𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘, the Children's Cordinator of 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫e𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚. I am seriously excited about my involvement in 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 Mityana as the Children's Cordinator.
